Christmas Carol Singing held at CMC Ldh

The hall reverberated with sound of Christmas carols
Ludhiana, 16th December, 2013: (Shalu Arora and Rector Kathuria):
A special Christmas carol service was held on the eve of Sunday the 15th of December 2013 in the historic Lady Willingdon Hall of the Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana. The program began with prayer by Rev. Alex peter, Chaplain. 
The Director Dr. Abraham G Thomas welcomed the guests and wished A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED NEW YEAR. The dignitaries present included Vice Chancellor PAU, Deputy Director Dr.Vijay Obed, Medical Superintendent Dr.Kanwal Masih, Principal Medical College Dr.S.Bhatti, Principal Dental College Dr.Abhi M Thomas etc.

As usual the students of CMC were at their best. The hall reverberated with the sound of Christmas carols sung by choir of 60 students supported by group of musicians including the organist Ms. Jenifer, the violinists Mr. Anurag and Mr. Azaz Prim. The choir was conducted by Ms. Sarah Dayal. The senior choir having 15 members sang to music by the organist Dr. Arpit Mathew, the violinists Dr. Aaron and Dr. Vinay Gaikwad and Dr. Varghese Thomas on the Euphonium.

The Choir was conducted by Dr. Jacob Koshy. Small kids dressed in colorful dresses sang Christmas carol and presented Christmas pageant which indeed was a feast to the eye and joy to the heart. A Choreography on the theme “Our God reigns” was presented by students. Christmas message was shared by the Chaplain Rev. A Rogers. At the end

Dr. Kim Mammen, Associate Director proposed the vote of thanks and the program closed with prayer by Rev. Eugene Skaria. As the guests stepped out of the hall there was another big surprise for everyone, as Santa Clause in his traditional carriage was there to meet and greet and distribute sweets to all.
