Australia’s non-resident Punjabi Mintu Brar’s book Kangaroonama will be released
Function to be held at Law Bhawan Chandigarh
Digital Library and Magazine to be launched on February 22 in Chandigarh
Surjit Patar, Harpal Pannu and Jaswant Jafar will be guests of honour
Chandigarh, February 19, 2014:: (Punjab Screen Bureau): 
Australia’s Prominent Non-resident Punjabi and journalist Mintu Brar’s book ‘Kangroonama’ will be released in Sector 37 Law Bhawan on February 22 (Saturday), besides launching digital library, Mintu’s unique effort on the occasion. A Kukabara magazine will also be released at this function. The programme being organized with the initiative of Australia’s Harman Radio in Sector 37 Law Bhawan will start at 11:00 a.m. with a tea party followed by release of the book ‘Kangroonama’ at 12:00 noon and magazine Kukubara at 12:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the Digital Library will be inaugurated at 1:00 p.m. followed by lunch at 2:00 p.m.
The function will be marked with the presence of eminent personalities including Chief Guest Dr. Harpal Singh Pannu, famous literary figure Dr. Surjit Patar, Jaswant Jaffar, Punjab CM’s media Advisor Harcharan Bains and Dr. Jagdish Kaur. The Babushahi.com Editor Baljit Balli will participate in the function as Advisor. The Reception Committee of the function will be comprised of Mintu Brar, Amandeep Singh Sidhu, Sarabjit Singh, Shivdeep Singh and Davinder Singh Dhaliwal.
