Amritsar: 17 August 2015: (Punjab Screen Bureau):
Congratulations to my friend Dr. Rabinder Singh Sethi for being bestowed with State Award on the Independence Day. He is an honest, hardworking, and kind hearted doctor. I am proud of you...Wish you many more awards...you deserve them. this comment was posted by Dinesh Kumar a friend of Dr Sethi.
In fact  mostly peoples don't know Dr Sethi's Moral and secret commitment to humanity, society, country and the down trodden poor peoples. He never tells that how many times he donated his blood to unknown persons. He never disclose that how many children getting their school fee from his pocket. He is carrying this torch of silent services which he got from his father S. Parduman Singh who is also known as father of pension scheme.
He is a hidden gem. Senior Medical Officer (SMO), Dr RS Sethi, presently holding the charge of medical reimbursements at Civil Surgeon Office here, was honoured during the Independence Day celebrations for providing excellent services. Dr Sethi was honoured by Cabinet Minister Bikram Singh Majithia. His colleagues in the department said Dr Sethi posted as SMO had been assigned various other duties by the department because of his honest and hardworking nature. He always remain smiling even in challenging situations. He deeply watch the issue, search the facts, verify them and after consulting all the concerned  he declare his analysis which is mostly accepted as the final decision by all the related persons.
“Most of the inter-departmental inquiries are entrusted to Dr Sethi because he is known for presenting his report on the basis of the facts. In all cases where the department wants to find out the real truth behind an incident, it is always Dr Sethi, who is asked to lead the inquiry team,” said an employee of the Civil Surgeon’s office. His all friends know his human friendly nature.
