23 faculty members are included in the career-long database

PGIMER faculty members feature on top 2% global Researchers

The Stanford University analysis is published (https://lnkd.in/dsYqxqJ2) in updated science-wide author databases of standardised citation indicators - Oct,2023, includes 23 PGI faculty members in the career-long database and 43 scientists are included in the single recent year dataset.

The PGIMER Faculty members are listed in top 2 per cent scientists in the world as per a subject-wise analysis conducted by Stanford University, California in United States of America.

Stanford University published database of 100,000 top-cited scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator (c-score). 

Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields according to the standard Science-Metrix classification.The selection is based on the top 100,000 scientists by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or above in the sub-field.

 Separate data are shown for career-long and, separately, for single recent year impact. Career-long data are updated to end-of-2022 and single recent year data pertain to citations received during calendar year 2022. Calculations were performed using all Scopus author profiles as of October 1, 2023.
