‘Indira Congress-RSS collusion’//By Shamsul Islam

Nanaji  Deshmukh justifying the massacre of the Sikhs

A crucial document may throw some light on the hidden aspects of the genocide and identify the overall forces which executed it. It was authored and circulated by veteran ideologue of the RSS, Nanaji Deshmukh on November 8, 1984.
Interestingly, this document was published in the Hindi Weekly 'Pratipaksh' edited by George Fernandes in its edition of November 25, 1984 titled ‘Indira Congress-RSS collusion’ with the following editorial comment:
'The author of the following document is known as an ideologue and policy formulator of the RSS. After the killing of Prime Minister (Indira Gandhi) he distributed this document among prominent politicians. It has a historical significance that is why we have decided to publish it, violating policy of our Weekly. This document highlights the new affinities developing between the Indira Congress and the RSS.'

This document may help in unmasking the whole lot of criminals involved in the massacre of innocent Sikhs who had nothing to do with the killing of Indira Gandhi. This document may also throw light on where the cadres came from, who meticulously organized the killing of Sikhs. Nanaji Deshmukh in this document is seen outlining the justification of the massacre of the Sikh community in 1984. According to him the massacre of Sikhs was not the handiwork of any group or anti-social elements but the result of a genuine feeling of anger among Hindus of India.
This document also shows the true degenerated and fascist attitude of the RSS towards all the minorities of India. The RSS has been arguing that they are against Muslims and Christians because they are the followers of foreign religions. Here we find them justifying the butchering of Sikhs who according to their own categorization happened to be the followers of an indigenous religion.

The RSS often poses as a firm believer in Hindu-Sikh unity. But in this document we will hear from the horse’s mouth that the RSS like the then Congress leadership, believed that the massacre of the innocent Sikhs was justified. Nanaji  Deshmukh in this document is seen outlining the justification of the massacre of the Sikh community in 1984.
His defence of the carnage can be summed up as in the following:
The massacre of Sikhs was not the handiwork of any group or anti-social elements but the result of a genuine feeling of anger among Hindus of India.
Deshmukh did not distinguish the action of the two security personnel of Indira Gandhi, who happened to be Sikhs, from that of the whole Sikh community. From his document it emerges that the killers of Indira Gandhi were working under some kind of mandate of their community. Hence attacks on Sikhs were justified.

Sikhs themselves invited these attacks, thus advancing the Congress theory of justifying the massacre of the Sikhs.

He glorified the ‘Operation Blue Star’ and described any opposition to it as anti-national. When Sikhs were being killed in thousands he was warning the country of Sikh extremism, thus offering ideological defense of those killings.

According to this document it was Sikh community as a whole which was responsible for violence in Punjab.

Deshmukh argued in the document that Sikhs should have done nothing in self-defence but showed patience and tolerance against the killer mobs.

According to Deshmukh's thesis these were Sikh intellectuals and not killer mobs which were responsible for the massacre. The former had turned Sikhs into a militant community, cutting them off from their Hindu roots, thus inviting attacks from the nationalist Indians. Moreover, he treated all Sikhs as part of the same gang and defended attacks on them as a reaction of the nationalist Hindus.

He described Indira Gandhi as the only leader who could keep the country united and expressed the opinion that on the murder of such a great leader such killings could not be avoided.

Rajiv Gandhi who succeeded Mrs. Gandhi as the Prime Minister of India and justified the nation- wide killings of Sikhs by saying, 'When a huge tree falls there are always tremors felt', was lauded and blessed by Nana Deshmukh in the following words: 'it is not to deny the truth that sudden removal of Indira Gandhi from Indian political scene has created a dangerous void in the Indian common life. But India has always displayed a characteristic inner strength in the moments of such crisis and uncertainty. According to our traditions, responsibility of power has been placed on the inexperienced shoulders of relatively young person in a lively and peaceful manner. It will be hasty to judge the potentialities of his leadership at this time. We should give him some time to show his ability.

On such challenging juncture of the country, in the meanwhile he is entitled to get full cooperation and sympathy from the countrymen, though they may belong to any language, religion, caste or political belief.'

There was not a single sentence in the Deshmukh document demanding, from the then Congress Government at the Centre, remedial measures for controlling the violence against the minority community. Mind this that Deshmukh circulated this document on November 8, 1984, and from October 31 to this date Sikhs were left alone to face the killing gangs. In fact November 5-10 was the period when the maximum killings of Sikhs took place. Deshmukh was just not bothered about all this.

Deshmukh document did not happen in isolation. It represented the real RSS attitude towards Sikh genocide of 1984. The RSS is very fond of circulating publicity material, especially photographs of its khaki shorts-clad cadres doing social work. For the 1984 violence they have none. In fact, Deshmukh’s article also made no mention of the RSS cadres going to the rescue of Sikhs under siege. This shows up the real intentions of the RSS during the genocide.

Importantly, Deshmukh circulated this document on November 8, 1984, and from October 31 to this date Sikhs were left alone to face the killing gangs. George Fernandes while making this document public in 1984 wrote that it showed ‘Indira Congress-RSS collusion’. All those interested in finding the real culprits of 1984 must also investigate whether this collusion was confined to political sphere or went beyond to killing fields.

Did govts. ever brought out the truth of Jallianwala Bagh?

Fri, Feb 7, 2014 at 8:05 AM
Who arranged and goarded people there to be slaughtered
Why still after 100 years we don't know the real game behind Kuka Movement?
Gurfateh Brethren
For thirty years one type of drama was played with the truth of Operation Blue Star mostly in India but to some extent in UK, Canada, US, Australia. And now its second phase has started. With this; Operation Blue Star issue has become now a tool on 'The Grand Chessboard of Geo-Politics and International Relations'. If there are Sikhs who think that they will really get to truth by this then they are truly living in fools heaven.
If Canadian government did not got the full truth out about Kanishka Tragedy that involves 300+ lives what makes anyone think that "Operation Blue Star where hundreds of thousands of lives were lost and which became catalyst for a mass revolutionary war that engulfed more hundreds of thousands of lives" the governments would be interested to bring the truth out. David Cameron and Whole Parliament can not even access those records which are marked State Secret and safe in vaults for 100 Years.

Few more example:
1. Sikhs always condemn Dogras and Misrs for liquidating Sikh Raj but has anyone ever thought for a moment that why they were in high ranking positions in the first place. Why Ranjit Singh raised them to so high positions and why would Ranjit Singh donate Lahore Darbar's Gold Reserves to Jagannath Puri? We don't see any country doing that now? Not even India. And Do we know what role Gold Reserve plays in the economic Trade and Banking Life of a State. [I have found some partial truths to it but it requires more historical investigation. So why not other Sikh Scholars?]
2. Did british government inspite of killing Kuka's brought out the truth of the Movement. Those records are more than 100 years old and now truly out of the boundary of State Secret.[Why still after 100 years we don't know the real game behind Kuka Movement]

3. Did governments ever brought out the truth of Jallianwala Bagh? Yes we know a British General fired there.. But who arranged that conference and goarded people there to be slaughtered. And same people got to form the board there to make a memorial?

4. Did you got to the bottom of the truth of Gadr Movement? How Baba Sohan Singh was shocked to find out that Indian as well as British government burned papers related to Gadr Movement and that too after 1947? [What connects Lala Hardayal's and other Arya Samaji's movements from US, Canada, Russia, Germany, Japan, India]
So I think in last one and half century Sikhs have paid enough price for the stupidities of their bogus leaders and this nonsense should not be carried forward. There is only one person who will conduct Inquiry Honestly and without Bias and he don't need to depend on any governments or parliaments or state records; and that person is Guru Nanak Sahib himself. If Sikhs really believe that Guru Nanak Sahib is present among them then why don't they ask Guru Nanak Sahib about what the real game was.

The Sikhs who demand Truth from others Either Don't Believe That Guru Nanak Sahib is present among us OR They Don't Know How to Communicate and Talk to Guru Nanak Sahib.
In both cases Sikhs should reject such leaders as either fools, Gandhians or Hanumaanis.

Supporting 1984 Attack–BJP–British Equally Responsible

AISSF Demands SAD (Badal) Sever Ties With BJP
Amritsar:February 7, 2014: (Punjab Screen Bureau):
With the role of British government in planning and executing infamous “Operation Blue Star” making headlines, All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) presented a memorandum to Akal Takhat Jathedar, about the support provided by LK Advani to Indira Gandhi to attack Sri Harmandir Sahib in June 1984 and association of BJP with Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal).
The AISSF memorandum states that “It is well known that besides British governments support, Indian army’s action to attack Sri Harmandir Sahib was also supported by LK Advani and his party BJP. In his book “My Country, My Life”, LK Advani proudly takes credit for having a hand in Indian Government’s military action on Sri Harmandir Sahib in June 1984.
AISSF President Karnail Singh Peermohammad stated that “We have to question all those who supported army action in June 1984, including Congress (I), Indian Government, British Government and BJP, who also openly supported Indira Gandhi”. All are guilty of “Criminal Conspiracy” against the Sikh community that lead to two decades of genocidal violence resulting in the loss of thousands of innocent Sikh lives. We cannot pick and choose the adversaries based on our relationship with them, as SAD (Badal) leadership is doing in the case of BJP” added Peermohammad.

The AISSF memorandum urged Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh to DECLARE that BJP is equally responsible for the army invasion of Sri Harmandir Sahib; DIRECT Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) to sever all ties with the BJP, a party that openly supported army invasion of Sri Harmandir Sahib and ISSUE a directive to SAD (Badal), SGPC and DSGMC to stop using the horrendous incidents of June 1984 to further their POLITICAL interests.
AISSF memorandum pointing to BJP’s involvement in 1984 states that “supporting Indian Army’s invasion of Sri Harmandir Sahib in June 1984 on a day when Sri Harmandir Sahib is most visited by Sikh pilgrims who gather to commemorate martyrdom of 5th Guru Arjun Dev Ji resulted in the destruction of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and doesn’t end with the death of over 10,000 innocent Sikh men, women, children, and the greatest Sikh leader in the modern history (Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale).   The BJP leadership is also guilty of all the innocent blood that spilt since June 1984. This includes more than 30,000 Sikhs systematically killed during November Sikh Genocide and the 1984 to 2000 Punjab Liberation Struggle which resulted in the Indian police killing over 100,000 Sikhs across India.
AISSF President stated that the nefarious policy of the SAD (Badal) supporting BJP, a party that had openly acknowledged support to Indira Gandhi to attack Sri Harmandir Sahib, is unacceptable and is an unholy alliance

UK Government Involvement in 1984 Golden Temple Attack

Mon, Jan 13, 2014 at 8:59 PM
Sikh Council UK Calls for Full Disclosure
Following publication on the internet of documents marked ‘TOP SECRET AND PERSONAL’ apparently released under the ’30-year rule’, the Sikh Council UK today called for an urgent enquiry into actions and involvement of the UK Government at the time of the Indian Army attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar (also known as the Golden Temple) in 1984.
The Top Secret documents released earlier this month by the UK Government show the Indian authorities “sought British advice over a plan to remove Sikh extremists from the Golden Temple in Amritsar”. The documents go on to explain the UK Foreign Minister with the agreement of the UK Prime Minister decided to respond favourably to the Indian request as a result of which an SAS officer (UK special forces) “has visited India and drawn up a plan which has been approved by Mrs Gandhi”.
Secretary General of the Sikh Council UK, Gurmel Singh said, “I am shocked and disappointed that there could have been any involvement by the UK Government and armed forces in planning the attack on the Golden Temple Complex including Sri

Harmandir Sahib and Sri Akal Takhat Sahib.”

“Thousands of innocent men, women and children were killed in the attack which took place on one of the holiest days in the Sikh calendar. As well as loss of life, buildings and property was destroyed and the historical Sikh reference library was ransacked. This is and remains one of the darkest episodes in Sikh history.”
Kulwant Singh Dhesi
He added, “I am calling for an urgent enquiry into UK Government involvement in the events of 1984 including a full disclosure of all documentation. The letters date from February 1984 yet the attack took place in June 1984 and then there was the subsequent genocide of Sikhs following Indira Gandhi assassination in October 1984. I want to know what else were the UK Government saying and doing over all that time?”

Chair of Indian Affairs Sub-Committee of Sikh Council UK, Cllr Gurdial Singh Atwal said,

“The Sikh community is this year commemorating the 30th anniversary of the events of 1984. We are also proudly commemorating the 100th anniversary of Sikh involvement and sacrifices in World War I. As proud and loyal British Sikhs it is a matter of great offense and distress that a UK Government could have been involved in planning an attack on our beloved Sri Harmandir Sahib. This involvement has been hidden for too long and as

British Sikhs we now demand to know the whole truth.”
The Sikh Council UK is writing to First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Rt Hon William Hague MP requesting an urgent inquiry including full disclosure of all documents and facts in relation to UK Government actions and involvement in the 1984 attack by the Indian Army on the Golden Temple Complex including Sri Harmandir Sahib and Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, Amritsar and subsequent events.
