BCM MUN -2016 Reaches Culmination

BCM held the closing ceremony of Model United Nations which opened on Friday morning, and kicked off a full schedule of debate, problem solving and collaboration surrounding simulated situations in international affairs.



During three day long conference, participants represented a country   formed a resolution group with other countries to meet their combined interests on a certain topic and determine future course of action following days of debating.



The Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony, Lt.Gen. Ashwini Kumar Bakshi ,said that the range of situations is wide and not limited to current affairs.Mr.Rushil , MUN Chief of Staff and Ms. Japjit, MUN Convener presented glimpses of events of three days.The videos, created by Rachit and Aryaman , showcased on the closing ceremony, were representative of the liveliness and the effort towards learning that was present throughout the event. The ambience was uplifting.



Speaking on the importance of having intra-school MUNs, Dr. Paramjit Kaur, the School Principal said, “Through this, we are helping the school students do better in the competitive MUN culture and bring out Competitiveness. Our tagline is 'Making future leaders' and that's what we intend to do.”



The closing ceremony came to an end with awards given off to the best performing delegates in each committee by their respective chairs and finally with teachers, who observed the event unfold closely, sing praises of the students for their achievement. The performances that were part of the closing ceremony was greatly appreciated by the cultural connoisseurs.The MUN had the maximum number of I.P  member’s i.e.85.



A vote of thanks was proposed by Secretary General Mohak Thukral who thanked all executive committee members, partners, sponsors and participants for helping to make the event a success.
