Punjab Police on Tuesday has busted another targetted killing module backed by Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) handlers based abroad with the arrest of its 4 operatives, including a former Indian Army Sepoy, who had managed to escape from Patiala Jail in April 2021.

Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Dinkar Gupta said that accused Jaspreet Singh alias Noopi, who had joined the Indian Army as a Sepoy in 2012, was lodged in Jail in a murder case in 2017. “After escaping from Jail, Noopi came in contact with foreign based KLF handlers who  motivated and induced him to raise a terror module to carry out targeted killings in the state,” he said.

The other three arrested persons have been identified as Jaswinder Singh, a resident of village Fatehpur Bunga in Ropar, Gaurav Jain alias Minku of village Kaliawala in district Sirsa and Parshant Silelan alias Kabir, a native of Meerut UP and presently staying at Dhanas in Chandigarh, the DGP added.

Sharing details, SSP Khanna Gursharan Singh Grewal said that, following inputs, the Khanna Police had stopped an Etios car during a special checking at GT Road Khanna and three persons, who got out of the car, tried to flee after opening fire at the Police Party. However, the Police party managed to nab Jaswinder and Minku on the spot, while Noopi was arrested later, alongwith Kabir, his another accomplice.

The Police have also recovered two .32 bore Pistols, alongwith 4 magazines and ammunition from the possession of accused persons besides an Etios car bearing fake registration number PB01AS6845, which had been snatched by Noopi at gunpoint from Zirakpur last month.

DGP Dinkar Gupta said that, during investigations, Noopi confessed to have snatched the Etios car, besides looting Rs 50000 from a Petrol pump in Kharar on July 3, 2021, with the help of his associates.

“Noopi disclosed that he had come in contact with militant anti-India individuals and elements based abroad with links to KLF terrorist outfit, who had funded him from abroad for carrying out target killings in Punjab and also arranged Pistols for him from UP to carry out terror acts in Punjab,” said DGP Dinkar Gupta, while adding that Noopi also did recce of sensitive targets in Punjab towards in pursuance of his violent intentions.

SSP Khanna said that preliminary investigations had revealed that the module had received funding from abroad via various digital platforms including Western Union, Paytm etc and foreign handlers also provided three weapons to the module from Rudrapur in Uttrakhand. Further investigations are on, he added.

Meanwhile, an FIR no. 140 dated 04.07.21 has been registered under sections 379-B, 411/34, 307, 332 and 336 of the IPC and section 25 of the Arms Act at City-2 Police Station Khanna.

Bittu to CM: order to register FIR’s in every police station

18th June 2020 at 8:01 PM
Strict Action Urgently required against Jathedar and SFJ
Ludhiana: 18th June 2020: (Punjab Screen Bureau) ::
Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu today urged Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to order that FIR’s be filed in every police station of the state against Akal Takhat Jathedar Harpreet Singh and singers Diljit Dosanjh and Jazzy Bains for openly supporting Gurpatwant Pannu’s and Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) demand for Khalistan and hence are a part of this organisation that has mocked our martyrs today.
He said that the letter written by Sikhs for Justice head Gurpatwant Pannu to China states that they “empathise” with China and “condemn” India for the violent face-off. “Are they empathising with China for killing our soldiers whose cremation rites are still going on in India including Punjab from where 4 young Sikh soldiers lost their lives defending India?
The whole country and Punjab state is still mourning the death of our young soldiers but these extremist people are empathising with their killers, self-inviting themselves to China for further talks on their extremist agendas and supporting China to disturb India’s and Punjab’s peace,” he said.
Bittu said that the first step they are taking in this direction is by mass calling Punjabis to lure Sikh soldiers in the Indian army to betray the army and join the Khalistan force for Rs 5000 additional salary.
“I want to tell them that we are proud of our sons of Punjab and there is not enough wealth in the world that can alter their spirit to sacrifice their lives for India, let alone betray the Indian army. This is the same organisation that demands Khalistan and has recently been supported by the Jathedar of Akal Takht Harpreet Singh, Singer Diljit Dosanjh and Jazzy Bains,” Bittu said while adding, “It sickens me to the stomach that these people holding high positions, enjoying luxuries and fame in India are supporting an organisation that is expressing joy over the martyrdom of our Indian soldiers.”
He also questioned Sukhbir Singh Badal, Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Bikram Singh Majithia that atleast now they should come clean about their stand in regards of the Jathedar. “Are they still in his support? It still isn’t too late. I urge them to come forward and stop this fire from spreading further than it already has,” MP Ravneet Singh Bittu said.

Will Harsimrat Badal Move to Ask for Secession?

 7th June 2020 at 2:56 PM
Congress MLAs react strongly over the statement on Khalistan
Ludhiana: 7th June 2020: (Punjab Screen Bureau)::
MLAs Amrik Singh Dhillon, Surinder Dawar and Kuldeep Singh Vaid have reacted strongly over the statement made by Akal Takht Jathedar and SGPC president over Khalistan. The MLAs have questioned as to what are Harsimrat Kaur Badal’s views on the statements made by Akal Takht Jathedar and SGPC President.
“I hope she realizes that SGPC is a statutory body, which functions under the constitution. Now that the Akal Takht Jathedar has publicly supported the demand for Khalistan, will Harsimrat Badal, as the sole representative of the Punjabis, in the Union Cabinet move a resolution in the Cabinet asking for secession from India,” asked the MLAs in a statement issued here today.
They hoped that Harsimrat remembers that she was elected by lakhs of Punjabis, who are both Sikhs and Hindus. “There are lakhs of Hindus living in all parts of the world who are Nanak Naam levas, and follow the teachings of the Sikh Gurus. Hindus also visit Sikh shrines in large numbers. Is SGPC President and his master Sukhbir Badal looking at throwing over 1 crore Hindus out of Punjab, just like Kashmiri Pandits, who were thrown out and driven out of their native lands,” they questioned.
They stated that the Jathedar Akal Takht has also said that the present Indian government has a ‘anti-Sikh approach’. “Will Harsimrat Badal resign from the Union Cabinet immediately for being a part of the anti-Sikh Union government and also her failure to protect the interests of the Punjabis, and Sikhs in particular.  Will Sukhbir Badal pull out of the BJP led Union government for pursuing an anti-Sikh approach and agenda. Does the SAD support the divisive and even secessionist agenda being pursued by the SGPC President?,” they asked.
The MLAs have urged Sukhbir Badal and SGPC President to clarify their stand regarding the statement of former BJP Minister, Manoranjan Kalia, who has said that the Jathedar has hurt the feelings of the Punjabis. “Sukhbir Badal, MP and SAD President, has made wild allegations about the anti-Sikh policies of Congress regimes. What is he going to do about the serious statement of the Jathedar that the Union government of which is wife is a Cabinet Minister and his party a coalition partner. Shouldn’t he immediately pull out of the Union government as well as the Cabinet,” MLAs Dhillon, Dawar and Vaid questioned.
