As the old students from the 1985 and 1986 batches of Forestry, College of Agriculture celebrated the alumni reunion; the event saw students from diverse areas coming together for a toast to the old memories and promises of keeping in touch in future.
As a special honour to Real Estate and Mortgage Consultant, Balwinder Singh, who came all the way from Surrey, Canada, to attend the meet, the Communication Centre presented him with PAU souvenirs and other memorabilia. Dr Tejinder Singh Riar, Additional Director of Communication and an ex-student of forestry from the same batch shared the integral role played by PAU in connecting alumni from different batches and backgrounds and fostering a spirit of camaraderie and collaboration.
In his welcome address, Dr Rishi Indra Singh Gill, Estate Officer, PAU, emphasized strengthening the bond between all ex-students and the need to play a vital role in the prime positioning of the university. The technical session included a discussion about agroforestry followed by a walk on the college campus.
Among those present were ex-students Satnam Singh IFS, Conservator Forest, Parvinder Jamwal, Chief Manager PNB, Mr Baljinder Singh and Gurwinder Singh from MNCs, Mr Tejwant Singh from GNDU Amritsar along with alumni Dr Baljit, Dr Ravinder, Dr GPS Dhillon, Dr Rishi Gill, Dr Ramandeep Singh, working as faculty of PAU.
