A very informative Virtual Meeting on very Important Topic Two Structured CPE HRS Virtual CPE Meeting on New Age Profession and Transform Challenges to opportunities was organized by the Ludhiana Branch of Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India 

CA Atul Kumar Gupta ji, President ICAI was the Special Guest Speaker on this occasion.

CA Ashwani Kumar ji was the Guest Speaker on this Occasion.

The event was conducted through Webinar via zoom application and welcome address was given by Ludhiana Branch Chairman CA. Ashish Jain who shared the perspective initiatives to be taken by Ludhiana Branch for the members.

The participants not only immensely benefited from the insights of the speaker but received answers to their questions as well. More than 200 Chartered Accountants from Ludhiana, Khanna, Mandi Gobindgarh, Jalandhar and surrounding areas attended the Seminar. 

Amongst others, Vice-Chairman CA Ashish Jain, Treasurer CA. Vikas Kwatra, Secretary CA Hitesh Goyal& CA Rachit Bhandari (Vice-Chairman NIRC) and Executive Member were also present.

The Virtual Meeting was concluded with votes of thanks from Chairman CA. Ashish Jain who thanked the Guest Speaker for sparing their valuable time in interacting with the Chartered Accountants and the audience for making Seminar an interactive one.

Chartered Accountants’ Day Celebrated at Ludhiana

A Joyful and Eventful day

Ludhiana: 1st July 2016: (Punjab Sreen Bureau):

Following a glorious tradition of professional excellence, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has completed 66 years of its superb existence on 1st July, 2016. It is a national event and a historic occasion, which reminds countrymen about accountancy profession’s wonderful on going journey of success that started decades back on 1st July, 1949 with the inception of ICAI. This is a matter of pride for not just the Chartered Accountants but for the nation as a whole.

Ludhiana Branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India celebrated this great occasion at ICAI Bhawan Ludhiana, where 250 CAs and their families and 200 CA Students participated to re-affirm their commitment to carry on the rich tradition of excellence of ICAI. 

The Program commenced with the Flag Hoisting by Chairman CA. Arun Rattan who congratulated all the members of the profession and the CA students on this auspicious occasion. He explained the various activities of Ludhiana Branch for its members and the CA Students and said that this event shall further foster the cordial relationship amongst the members and their families. It shall strengthen their unity. 

As a matter of Social Responsibility Measure, Tree Plantation & the Blood Donation Camp was organized this was very well supported by the Team of Doctors from DMC&H.  More than 150 units of blood were donated for this noble cause. 

With a view to make the CAs aware about the importance of taking care of health, a Free Health Check-up Camp, Bone Marrow Registry by the Team of Medical Specialists from DMC&H was also organized.                                                                                                                    

Different types of health tests were freely carried and around 100 Members were benefitted.  

Rather than these activities clothes distribution & distribution of Literacy Kits programs were organized. In the closing ceremony, movie tickets were distributed to blood donators to enjoy the CA day evening.

On this occasion Ludhiana ICAI Branch Vice Chairman CA. Ashish Jain, Secretary CA. Sandeep Gupta, Executive Member CA. Rohit Goyal, CA Amanjot Kaur, CA Hitesh Goyal, NIRC member  CA Pankaj Periwal of ICAI  were also present.
