National Doctors day in India is a big awareness campaign

Punarjot eye bank society honoured Dr Renu chhatwal civil surgeon for helping the noble cause of eye donation as district chief on the eve of National Doctor day. Token of appreciation was given by Sh. Hussan lal IAS managing director Punjab health system corporation who on visit in city. He said on the occasion that National Doctors day in India is a big awareness campaign offering great opportunities to all to get aware about the roles, importance and responsibilities of the doctors as well as promote medical professionals to come closer and follow the responsibilities of their profession very dedicatedly.
Dr Gurjeet singh MD (medicine) AIIMS, Guru Nanak hospital ,Bhikhi, Rara sahib selected under category of rural/ slum area service award who is providing his professional services in village from last 2 and 1/2 years opting work in rural area in spite post gradation from country,s premium institution AIIMS new Delhi.
Dr Kulwant singh MD president IMA also honoured for contribution of city doctors for eye donation. Dr Manoj Sobti past president IMA and Dr Sukhjiwan kakkar SMO civil hospital Ludhiana also greeted for doctor day.
Dr Ramesh MD medical director punarjot eye bank society told on the occasion that It is a day to say vote of thanks for their doctors by whole society for love, affection and priceless care of their patients.
Rakesh Duggal co ordinator Punarjot eye bank society thanked the doctors community for their contribution in noble cause of eye donation.
